Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough or other hearty bread
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 8 ounces deli turkey slices
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and cut in half
- 1 medium tomato, sliced thin
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Prep Bread: Place 4 slices sourdough or other hearty bread on a cutting board. Spread 2 Tablespoons butter on one side of each slice. Flip bread and spread 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise on the other side (the mayo sides will be the inside of the sandwiches).
- Assemble Sandwiches: Place 2 slices of bread on a cutting board, butter-side down. Divide 4 slices Swiss cheese, 8 ounces deli turkey slices, 4 slices bacon, and 1 medium tomato (sliced) evenly between the 2 slices of bread. Add 4 slices provolone cheese, dividing between the sandwiches, then close with the remaining bread slices, butter-side facing out.
