This is my favorite corner of the nursery. Since Lucy has arrived, we’ve spent countless hours sitting in this glider with our feet up on this pouf. I breastfeed Lucy while sitting here and she loves to look up at the hanging mobile.

I wanted to add a bit more greenery to this area (we have other plans on the bookshelves), so I opted to get a faux fiddle leaf plant. I love how it looks here!

The primary place we saved a lot of money on our nursery costs was the crib. The original crib I found that I added to our registry was $300+. After some research, we found this amazing affordable crib for less than a third of the price!

You may notice that the area behind the crib looks quite… plain. This was purposeful. Ryan and I strictly follow safe sleep practices, which means nothing in the crib, above the crib hanging on the wall or from the ceiling, or within 1 foot around the crib. The only thing that is allowed in Lucy’s crib is the crib mattress, fitted mattress sheet, and a pacifier.

This diaper changing station is simple, yet has everything we need to do diaper and outfit changes for Lucy throughout the day and night.

Can you tell we love Boston Terriers?! We bought Lucy lotsss of Boston Terrier-related books and were gifted other books from family and friends as well. Ryan reads to Lucy daily and we plan to continue that as part of our nightly routine as she gets older.

This bookshelf contains some miscellaneous items, some essential and some for decoration. I bought many of these storage baskets and LOVE them for organizing items on the shelves.

This name puzzle is one of my favorite purchases! Obviously Lucy can’t play with it just yet, so we’re using it for decoration until she gets older. The puzzle was custom-made and we actually purchased several to gift to our nephews and niece. They are so cute as a nursery decoration!

Of course we had to buy a Boston Terrier stuffed animal for her! We used this cute toy basket to store that stuffed animal and a couple of other ones.

This bookshelf is mostly just decorations in order to add some pops of color to the room.
