Meet Sara

Welcome to Real Balanced! My name is Sara Nelson, and I am a full-time recipe food blogger living in Wisconsin.

On my site, I share delicious, easy, and balanced recipes that can often be made in minimal time.

I am a Mom to two young children and, like so many parents, don’t have endless time to spend cooking in the kitchen. With that in mind, I aim to make flavorful and filling recipes that come together quickly with ingredients you may already have on hand.

Since I began Real Balanced, my work has been featured in major online publications, like Delish, Shape, MyFitness Pal, and The Kitchn. I am also a regular contributor to Food Drink Life and Tastes Delicious.
