- ¼ cup canned coconut cream
- 1 scoop MCT oil powder
- 1 Tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 Tablespoon golden monk fruit sweetener
- ¾ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 ice cubes
- 6 Tablespoons water divided
To a high-speed blender, add all ingredients excluding water. After all ingredients are added to blender and before turning blender on, pour in ¼ cup water and pulse until well-combined.
Remove blender lid, pour in remaining 2 Tablespoons water, and blend again.
Coconut Substitution: For a coconut-free version, altogether omit the MCT oil powder and substitute heavy cream in for canned coconut cream at a 1:1 ratio. Note that the nutrition facts will change if you do this.
Storage: Store smoothie in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2 days.
