Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped baby dill pickles
  • 1 Tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 Tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine Sour Cream and Mayonnaise: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir until well combined.
  • Add Chopped Pickles: Fold in chopped pickles to the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture.
  • Mix in Pickle Juice: Pour in pickle juice and stir to incorporate.
  • Season the Dip: Add dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
  • Chill: For best flavor, cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving.

To Make In Advance: Make it up to 1 day in advance for the best flavor and texture. While it can be stored longer, the pickles may release extra liquid over time, slightly thinning the dip. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge, and give it a quick stir before serving. Add any garnishes, like chopped pickles or fresh dill, just before serving for the freshest look and flavor.
Refrigerator Storage: Store in an airight container for up to 3 days. If you’ve garnished it, you might want to add fresh garnishes just before serving.
