Description

This Keto Spicy Candied Bacon makes for a delicious and fun appetizer or side dish! The recipe requires only 5 ingredients and can be made in 30 minutes. The bacon is candied with allulose, a low-carb sweetener, and has an added depth of spicy flavor from ground cayenne pepper.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place wire rack atop baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together allulose, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and pepper.
  3. Arrange bacon slices in even layer atop wire rack. Spoon allulose mixture atop bacon, using back of spoon to spread into an even layer.
  4. Transfer baking sheet to oven and bake until bacon is crispy, about 13-18 minutes, depending on thickness of bacon, rotating baking sheet halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. Remove baking sheet from oven and allow to sit at room temperature to fully cool before serving.
